Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 2001, she immigrated to Canada in 2008 and studied economics at Concordia University. Before her election, she worked as an e-commerce consultant and as an assistant to MP Emmanuel Dubourg. Auguste gained national attention during the 2025 federal election for a highly contested race that involved a judicial recount and a subsequent Supreme Court annulment, leading to her successful victory in an April 2026 by-election.
