Tere Sammallahti

Tere Sammallahti is a Finnish politician, construction engineer, and content creator serving as a Member of the Parliament of Finland since 2023. Before his election to the national legislature, he served as a city councilor in Espoo and was a member of the Länsi-Uusimaa wellbeing services county council. A self-described liberal, Sammallahti advocates for market-oriented economic policies, the reduction of the public sector, and the deregulation of industries such as alcohol sales and gambling. He previously worked as the content director for the think tank Libera and gained prominence as a contributor to the blog Päivän Byrokraatti.
