Arto Satonen

Arto Satonen is a Finnish politician serving as the Minister of Employment in the Orpo Cabinet since June 2023. A member of the National Coalition Party, he has represented the Pirkanmaa electoral district in the Parliament of Finland since his first election in 2003. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held significant leadership roles, including serving as the chairman of the National Coalition Party's parliamentary group and as the second deputy speaker of the Parliament. Before entering politics, he worked as a teacher at various universities of applied sciences and operated a grill kiosk in his hometown of Vammala.
