Thamsanqa Mabhena is a South African politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Democratic Alliance. He began his political career in 2008 by establishing a local party branch in Mpumalanga and later held various youth leadership and constituency roles within the Democratic Alliance. Between 2019 and 2024, he served as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Transport. Throughout his parliamentary tenure, he has been a vocal advocate for government accountability, notably criticizing the management of transport relief funds during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was re-elected to the National Assembly in the 2024 general election.
