Thangam Thenarasu

Thangam Thenarasu is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. A prominent leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), he has held several key ministerial portfolios in the Tamil Nadu government, including Finance, Planning, and Human Resources Management. He previously served as the Minister for School Education from 2006 to 2011. The son of former MLA V. Thangapandian, Thenarasu has been elected to the state assembly five times throughout his career.
