Theresa Griffin

Theresa Griffin is a British politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since January 2025. Previously, she represented North West England as a Labour Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2014 to 2020, where she focused on energy policy, climate change mitigation, and workers' rights. Before her parliamentary career, she worked as a regional organiser for the UNISON union and served as a councillor on Liverpool City Council during the 1990s. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for carbon capture technology, EU-wide energy coordination, and social justice initiatives.
