Thomas Aeschi is a Swiss politician and businessman who has served as a member of the National Council since 2011. A member of the Swiss People's Party, he previously held a seat on the Cantonal Council of Zug from 2010 to 2012 and served as the president of the SVP Parliamentary Group. Before his full-time political career, Aeschi worked in banking at Credit Suisse and later established his own consulting firm. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
