Thomas H. Cormen is an American politician and retired academic who serves as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, having been elected in 2022. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career in computer science as an emeritus professor at Dartmouth College. He is widely recognized as a co-author of the seminal textbook Introduction to Algorithms. Throughout his academic career, he directed the Dartmouth College Writing Program and conducted extensive research in parallel computing and algorithm engineering.
