Thomas Gould

Thomas Gould is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork North-Central constituency. First elected in the 2020 general election and subsequently re-elected in 2024, he previously served as a member of the Cork City Council from 2009 to 2020. Before entering national politics, Gould worked as a logistics manager. He is known for his involvement in local community organizations and his distinct Cork accent, which gained international attention in 2026. Politically, he is a member of Sinn Féin and has been an outspoken advocate on local council spending and historical issues related to the Provisional IRA.
