Thomas Strobl

Thomas Strobl is a German politician and the current President of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg. A long-standing member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously served as the Minister of the Interior, Digitalization, and Migration for Baden-Württemberg from 2016 to 2026, as well as Deputy Minister-President. Before his state-level career, Strobl was a member of the German Bundestag from 1998 to 2016. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in regional and national politics, focusing on internal security, migration policy, and economic affairs. He is a qualified lawyer and has been active in local politics in his hometown of Heilbronn for many years.
