Thorsten Weiß

Thorsten Weiß is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party since 2016. A former professional soldier and officer in the armored corps, he later studied business administration at Humboldt University of Berlin. Within the AfD, Weiß has held various leadership roles, including deputy chairman of the Berlin AfD parliamentary group and former state chairman of the party's youth organization, the Young Alternative Berlin. He is known for his right-wing political positions, focusing on issues such as internal security, migration policy, and the critique of current government policies. Weiß has been a prominent figure in the party's right-wing faction and continues to serve in the Berlin state parliament, where he acts as the interior policy spokesperson for his faction.
