Átila Lins

Átila Lins is a Brazilian politician, economist, and lawyer currently serving his ninth consecutive term as a federal deputy representing the state of Amazonas. Born in Fonte Boa, he began his legislative career as a state deputy in 1978 and was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1990. Throughout his long career, he has been affiliated with several political parties, including the PFL, PMDB, and PP, before joining the Social Democratic Party (PSD). Known for his longevity in office, Lins has participated in significant national political events, including the impeachment processes of presidents Fernando Collor and Dilma Rousseff. He has also served as a coordinator for the Amazonas parliamentary caucus and has been involved in various legislative committees, including those focused on foreign relations and national defense.
