Tim Lochner

Tim Lochner is a German local politician who has served as the Mayor of Pirna since February 2024. A carpenter by trade, he previously served as a member of the Pirna City Council, having been elected in 2014 as a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) before later becoming an independent. Lochner gained national attention as the first mayoral candidate supported by the Alternative for Germany (AfD) to win an election in Germany. His political platform includes opposition to gender-neutral language and the display of rainbow flags on public buildings, and he has expressed controversial views regarding demographic changes.
