Tom Hinzmann

Tom Hinzmann is a German politician and member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft, representing the constituency of Bramfeld – Farmsen-Berne – Steilshoop since 2025. Born in Ludwigslust in 1996, he moved to Hamburg as a child and later pursued studies in education with a focus on German and social sciences. Hinzmann has been active in the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 2012, previously serving as a member of the Wandsbek district assembly and as the state chair of the Jusos in Hamburg. In his current parliamentary role, he serves on the school, family, children and youth, and European committees.
