Tom Osborne is a Canadian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the district of Cape Spear, having been elected in 2025. Prior to his federal career, he was a prominent figure in provincial politics in Newfoundland and Labrador, where he served as a member of the House of Assembly from 1996 to 2024, becoming the province's longest-serving MHA. Throughout his provincial tenure, he held several cabinet positions, including Minister of Finance, Minister of Health and Community Services, and Minister of Education, and served as Speaker of the House of Assembly. He is currently the Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board.
