Tom Patton

Thomas F. Patton is an American politician serving as a member of the Ohio Senate representing the 24th District since 2025. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Patton has had a long career in the Ohio General Assembly, having served multiple terms in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate. Throughout his legislative tenure, he has held leadership roles including Senate Majority Leader and House Majority Whip. His policy work has focused on public safety, labor, and economic development, including sponsoring legislation to support firefighters with cancer and establishing funds for public safety officers dealing with PTSD. He is a member of several community organizations, including the Cleveland Police Historical Society and the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce.
