Thomas Edward Willis is an American politician currently serving as a member of the West Virginia Senate for the 15th district. A member of the Republican Party, he assumed office in 2024 after defeating incumbent Senate President Craig Blair in the primary election. Willis holds a background in law and military service, having served in the West Virginia National Guard since 2000. In addition to his legislative career, he is a business owner who co-purchased the Glen Ferris Inn in 2017. Willis previously sought election to the United States Senate in 2018 and has announced his intention to challenge incumbent Shelley Moore Capito in the 2026 Republican primary for the U.S. Senate.
