Tomasz Szymański

Tomasz Józef Szymański is a Polish politician and local government official currently serving as a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, a position he has held since 2011. Since December 2023, he has also served as Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. Before his parliamentary career, he worked as a technical and commercial representative and served as the city secretary of Grudziądz. A long-time member of the Civic Platform, he has been active in regional politics, including a term in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Regional Assembly. He holds degrees in administration from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and human resources management from the University of Gdańsk.
