Tony Bisignano

Tony Bisignano is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Iowa Senate, representing the 17th district. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1987 to 1993 and held a seat in the Iowa Senate from 1993 to 1997 before returning to the chamber in 2014. Throughout his career, he has focused on labor and business relations, currently serving as the chairman of the Labor and Business Relations Committee. Before his legislative career, he worked for Polk County and served as president of AFSCME Local 1868.
