Treg Bernt

Treg Bernt is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the Idaho Senate for the 21st district, having assumed office in December 2022. Born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication from Idaho State University. Before his legislative career, Bernt worked as a territory manager for Shaw Industries and founded his own flooring business. He previously served as a member of the Meridian City Council and as president of the City of Meridian Parks & Recreation Commission.
