Treneé McGee is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 116th district since 2021. Elected in a special election at age 27, she holds the distinction of being the youngest female member of the Connecticut House and the youngest Black woman ever elected to the Connecticut General Assembly. Before her state-level service, she was a member of the West Haven City Council. McGee is known for advocating a consistent life ethic, which includes opposition to abortion, capital punishment, and euthanasia, and she has consistently championed policies aimed at reducing student debt and ensuring quality healthcare access for all.
