Troy Hashimoto

Troy Hashimoto is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Hawaii Senate, representing the 5th district. Appointed to the Senate in November 2023 following the resignation of Gilbert Keith-Agaran, he previously served in the Hawaii House of Representatives. Hashimoto first entered the state legislature in 2018, succeeding longtime incumbent Joseph Souki. Before his legislative career, he worked as an executive assistant to the Maui County Council Chair. He remains active in state policy and disaster recovery efforts in Maui.
