Trung Luu

Trung Luu is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Victorian Legislative Council for the Western Metropolitan Region since November 2022. A refugee from Vietnam who arrived in Australia in the late 1970s, Luu previously served for 28 years with the Victoria Police and 19 years with the Australian Army Reserve. Before his election to the state parliament, he served as a councillor for the Brimbank City Council. He is the first Vietnamese-Australian to represent the Liberal Party in the Legislative Council and currently serves as a shadow parliamentary secretary for Multicultural Affairs.
