Tsuyoshi Yamamura is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly. Before entering politics, he worked for the Ministry of Construction and later the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, where he held various positions including head of the Isahaya branch of the Nagasaki River and National Highway Office. After resigning from the ministry in 2020, he registered as an administrative scrivener and unsuccessfully ran for mayor of Isahaya in 2021 before being elected to the prefectural assembly in 2023. His policy priorities include child-rearing support, regional revitalization, and disaster prevention infrastructure.
