Tumelo Ramongalo

Tumelo Ramongalo is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since 2024, representing the Democratic Alliance. Prior to his national parliamentary career, he served as a councillor for the Sedibeng District Municipality and later the Emfuleni Local Municipality, where he also acted as Deputy Chairperson of the DA caucus. A 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow, Ramongalo is active in the Portfolio Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation and serves as the DA's Deputy Spokesperson for the same portfolio. He is recognized as the first DA member of parliament from Emfuleni and is involved in the party's LGBT advocacy through the DA Rainbow Network.
