Ty Masterson is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 16th district since 2009. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, he served as a representative in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2005 to 2008 and was a member of the Andover City Council. Throughout his legislative career, Masterson has held various committee assignments, including roles on the Federal and State Affairs, Public Health and Welfare, and Utilities committees. He is currently a candidate for the Republican nomination in the 2026 Kansas gubernatorial election.
