
Uģis Rotbergs
Profile
Uģis Rotbergs is a Latvian politician, forestry expert, and environmental activist currently serving as a member of the 14th Saeima. A long-time member of the New Unity party, he previously served as a deputy in the 10th Saeima and as a member of the Riga City Council. Before his political career, Rotbergs held a significant role as the director and later chairman of the board for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Latvia. He holds a master's degree in business and organizational management from the Riga Business Institute and a degree in forestry engineering from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
