Umang Singhar is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Gandhwani constituency. A prominent Adivasi leader, he previously served as the Minister for Forest and Environment in the Kamal Nath ministry from 2019 to 2020. Currently, he holds the position of Leader of the Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Singhar, who is the nephew of the late Deputy Chief Minister Jamuna Devi, has been a consistent political figure since his first election to the assembly in 2008.
