Upendra Yadav is a prominent Nepalese politician who has served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal on multiple occasions. A key figure in the Madheshi movement, he founded the Madheshi Jana Adhikar Forum to advocate for the rights and political representation of the Madheshi people. Throughout his career, he has held various ministerial positions, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Health and Population. Although he was a long-time member of the House of Representatives, he lost his seat in the 2022 general elections.
