Uwe Foullong

Uwe Foullong is a German politician currently serving as a member of the Bundestag, representing North Rhine-Westphalia since 2025. Before his election to the federal parliament, he had a long career in the trade union sector, notably working with the HBV and later ver.di, where he served on the federal executive board. Originally a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany from 1983 to 2017, he joined The Left in 2023. He is an economist by training, having studied at the Free University of Berlin.
