Václav Trojan is a Czech politician, veterinarian, and molecular biologist who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic since October 2025. A member of the ANO movement, he previously served as a local representative for the Brno-Židenice district and as a representative of the South Moravian Region. Before entering national politics, Trojan was a prominent researcher specializing in plant genetics and the physiology of medicinal cannabis, having led research units at the University Hospital St. Anne in Brno. He is a vocal advocate for the expanded medical use of cannabis and the regulation of a recreational cannabis market in the Czech Republic.
