Valentin Hajdinjak is a Slovenian economist and politician serving as the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia. He studied international trade at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, and previously worked in journalism, public relations, and as the CEO of the Motorway Company in the Republic of Slovenia (DARS) until his resignation in 2023. A prominent member of New Slovenia, he has also served in various governmental advisory and spokesperson roles.
