Valentina Tuchel

Valentina Tuchel is a German politician and a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 2011. Born in Jemwa, Russia, she moved to Germany and pursued extensive academic studies in education, sociology, philosophy, and Slavic philology at the University of Oldenburg and the University of Bremen. Professionally, she has worked as a social pedagogue for the Workers' Welfare Association (AWO) in Bremen, focusing on migration services. In her political career, she has served on numerous committees, including those for social affairs, youth, integration, and finance, and acts as the integration policy spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group.
