Valeria Valente

Valeria Valente is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. A long-time member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as a deputy in the Chamber of Deputies during the XVII legislature and held various roles in the Naples municipal government, including city councilor and assessor. Throughout her career, Valente has focused on gender equality, anti-discrimination policies, and the promotion of women's empowerment. She has also served as the president of the parliamentary commission of inquiry into femicide and all forms of gender-based violence.
