Venola Mason is an American educator and politician serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives for the 94th district. Elected in a special election in April 2026, she previously worked as a teacher for Atlanta Public Schools and as an educational consultant. Mason gained early public attention as a student at Crenshaw High School when she was featured in Miles Corwin's 2000 book, And Still We Rise. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Colby College and a Master of Education from Kennesaw State University.
