Veronica Klinefelt

Veronica Klinefelt is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan Senate, representing the 11th Senate district since 2023. Before her election to the state senate, she built an extensive career in local government, serving for six years on the East Detroit School Board, eight years on the Eastpointe City Council—including time as Mayor Pro Tem—and ten years as a member of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners. She secured her current seat in the 2022 general election by defeating the incumbent.
