Ntombovuyo Veronica Mente is a South African politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa, a position she has held since 2014. Hailing from the Khayelitsha township in Cape Town, she previously worked as a security member for the mayor of Cape Town and as a volunteer for the Labour Community Advice Media and Education Centre. Mente joined the Economic Freedom Fighters shortly after its founding and served as the party's National Chairperson from 2019 to 2024. During her parliamentary tenure, she has been active in the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
