Victor Marques

Victor Marques is a Brazilian politician and civil engineer currently serving as the Mayor of Recife. A graduate of the University of Pernambuco, he began his career in the cabinet of former Pernambuco Governor Paulo Câmara and later served as chief of staff for João Campos in the Chamber of Deputies. Following his tenure as chief of staff to the mayor, he was elected vice-mayor of Recife in 2024 and assumed the office of mayor in April 2026 after the resignation of João Campos.
