Victoria Velásquez

Victoria Velásquez is a Danish politician serving as a member of the Folketing for the Red–Green Alliance. First elected to the national parliament in the 2019 Danish general election, she has been an active voice for her party on both national and international issues. Prior to her parliamentary career, she was a candidate for the People's Movement against the EU in the 2014 European Parliament election. In 2025, she gained international attention for her participation in the Thousand Madleens flotilla, an initiative aimed at delivering aid to Gaza during the blockade, which resulted in her temporary detention by the Israeli military.
