Simon Kollerup

Simon Kollerup is a Danish politician and a member of the Folketing representing the Social Democrats. First elected to the Danish parliament in 2011, he has served as a prominent figure within his party. From 2019 to 2022, he held the position of Minister of Economic and Business Affairs in the Frederiksen Cabinet. During his tenure as minister, he was noted for his active engagement in economic policy, including public advocacy for consumer interests during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also serves as an ex-officio member of the boards of governors for the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Nordic Investment Bank.
