Vijay Deshmukh

Vijay Deshmukh is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Solapur North constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has been a prominent political figure in the region. In December 2014, he was appointed as a minister of state in the Maharashtra government, where he held portfolios including Public Works, Transport, Labour, and Textiles, while also serving as the guardian minister for Solapur district.
