Vijender Gupta

Vijender Gupta is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, serving as the Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly and as a Member of the Legislative Assembly representing the Rohini constituency. He has an extensive political career beginning in student politics with the Janta Vidyarthi Morcha and later serving as a municipal councillor, president of the Delhi state unit of the BJP, and leader of the opposition in the Delhi Assembly. An alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, he has won multiple consecutive terms in Rohini and was elected Speaker of the assembly in February 2025.
