Viktoriia Siumar is a Ukrainian politician, journalist, and media expert currently serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine. A graduate of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she began her career as a journalist for Radio Continent and the Voice of America before leading the Institute of Mass Information. Siumar played a prominent role in the Euromaidan movement and subsequently served as Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in 2014. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on media policy, freedom of speech, and anti-corruption legislation, previously chairing the parliamentary committee on freedom of speech and information policy.
