Vincenza Rando

Vincenza Rando is an Italian politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Senate of the Republic since 2022. Born in Niscemi, she built a career as a legal professional and a prominent activist against organized crime, notably serving as vice president of the anti-mafia association Libera. In 2023, she was appointed to the national secretariat of the Democratic Party with responsibility for anti-mafia efforts, legality, and transparency. Her political career began in local government in Niscemi, where she served as a city councilor and deputy mayor.
