Virendra Kumar Yadav is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Jangipur constituency. Born in Ghazipur, he holds a Ph.D. from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University and degrees in law and arts from the University of Allahabad. Before his election to the state assembly in 2017, he served as the Block Pramukh of Ghazipur Sadar and as the Chairman of the Zila Panchayat of Ghazipur. He is a member of the Samajwadi Party and continues his political career following in the footsteps of his father, the late Kailash Yadav.
