Walid Iqbal is a Pakistani politician, lawyer, law professor, and a member of the Senate of Pakistan representing Punjab. A member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf since 2011, he has served as chairman of the Senate Committee on Human Rights and the Senate Standing Committee on Defence. He holds degrees from the Wharton School, University of Cambridge, University of Punjab, and Harvard Law School, and is the grandson of the renowned Islamic philosopher and poet Muhammad Iqbal.
