Walter Tesauro is an Italian politician and lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Caltanissetta, a position he assumed in June 2024. In April 2025, he was also elected as the President of the Free Municipal Consortium of Caltanissetta, becoming the first to hold the office after a decade of administrative receivership. A law graduate from the University of Palermo, Tesauro previously served as a municipal councilor and as the President of the University Consortium of Caltanissetta. His mayoral tenure has been marked by significant local debate regarding the 2025 demolition of the historic Sant'Anna antenna.
