Wendy Lovell

Wendy Lovell is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the Victorian Legislative Council since 2002. Representing the Liberal Party, she has held various leadership roles, including Minister for Housing and Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development from 2010 to 2014, as well as Deputy President of the Legislative Council. Before entering politics, she worked as a newsagent. Lovell has been a long-serving representative for the Northern Victoria Region, though she has announced her intention to retire at the 2026 state election.
