Born in 1967 in Recklinghausen, he has served as a representative for the constituency of Coesfeld I – Borken III since 2017. Before entering state politics, Korth worked as an agricultural machinery mechanic and has served as a farm manager in Billerbeck since 1987. He has been a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 2004 and has served on the city council of Coesfeld since 2009.
