William N. Brownsberger is an American politician currently serving as the President pro tempore of the Massachusetts Senate. Representing the Suffolk and Middlesex District since 2012, he previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Brownsberger began his career as a Belmont Selectman and an Assistant Attorney General.
