Will Brownsberger

William N. Brownsberger is an American politician currently serving as the President pro tempore of the Massachusetts Senate. Representing the Suffolk and Middlesex District since 2012, he previously served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Brownsberger began his career as a Belmont Selectman and an Assistant Attorney General. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on legislative policy and has been a vocal opponent of unionization efforts among Senate staff, citing potential conflicts of interest. He is also known for his personal interests as a marathoner and triathlete.
